Titirangi residents have reported “increased commute times” as multiple and ongoing slips have led to one-way roads as well as train and bus disruption.

Buses are still being cancelled, many with little to no warning, affecting those  in the suburb relying on them.

Local resident Car says her “daughter was unable to get home after her school bus dropped her off in the village, and ended up walking one hour after getting off.”

Multiple slips are still waiting to be fixed, including on Scenic Drive and Woodlands Park Road with drivers facing extreme delays with roadblocks at older slips and new ones arising.

Pedestrians are faced with no sidewalk and only traffic cones separating them from  oncoming traffic.

Another Titirangi resident, Annette, said she is unable to go for her routine walks, as the slips have left many areas of the sidewalk closed.

As new slips continue to happen, trains have also been running at fluctuating frequencies between ten and 20 minute intervals.
